Well we're back, resting up after a fun (and severely sleep deprived) 4 gig run, hitting Cleveland, Chicago, Pontiac, and Toronto. We can't thank everyone who made it out enough! good times, good times..
Resting's cool, but it's time to get back out there. Starting tomorrow! Hope to see everyone at the show

Introducing Mark "Tewar" Tewarson
Aight, anyone coming out to a show during our tour this month, we have little surprise for you..
We're doing this one with our boy Tewar, an old friend and extremely gifted guitarist.
Before Tortured Soul was birthed into our lives, we toured with Marky T for several years as the rhythm section for a funk band. And Mark's been on almost every Tortured Soul studio recording, so the whole thing just made sense. We've been rehearsing like maniacs, teaching him our stuff and working out new material. It's gonna be a fun tour, he adds an extra rhythmic element that takes the energy to a different place.
btw, Tewar's pretty much a badass, besides guitar he also plays bass, mandolin, lap steel, vibraphone, piano, sitar, viola... ukulele... OK, there won't be any ukulele on our shows, but he does play a mean rhythm guitar. Dude's recorded with Spinna, N'Dea Davenport, Tracey Thorn, Patti Smith, and he's the musical director for a Indian world and pop music band called Falu. He also plays in this big ol' disco band called Escort. You might have seen their video "All Through the Night" floating around (the one with the Muppet Show clips)
So come down to a show if you can make it, we're playing lots of new material, we'll have some brand new EPs with new studio recordings from the upcoming album, AND, we got a sexy 4th guy. What's not to love?
We'll be in CLEVELAND, CHICAGO, DETROIT, TORONTO, BALTIMORE, NEW YORK CITY, WASHINGTON DC, PHILLY, CHARLOTTE, & ATLANTA this march with Amp Fiddler (cept Cleveland, sorry ohio, just us!)
& Check our Myspace player for new musique :)
love,
Ethan from TS

NEW MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's right folks! Some of you may have noticed that there are a few BRAND NEW songs up there in our myspace player. These are 3 of the tracks that will appear on a new 4-song EP that we've put together. The EP also features a remix of one of the tracks by our buddy Chuck Love, and will give you all a taste of what's to come on our forthcoming full-length album "In Transit." For now, the "In Transit - Advance EP" will be for sale at shows only.
But that ain't all; we'll be dropping the song "Your Dream Is My Dream" as it's own single on Coco Soul Records with a remix by the inimitable Jon Cutler by the end of March. More details on that to come.
So for now listen, enjoy, and learn the words...we wanna see you all singing at the shows this month!
love,
J and the TS boys
